Senior Manager, Knowledge & Insights

Knowledge and Advocacy Full-time - Permanent


You will be conducting quantitative and qualitative research and analysing data and trends on giving to inform and influence key stakeholders, ranging from internal stakeholders in NVPC to external partners such as government agencies, non-profits, companies and funders.

As part of the team, you will also be involved in our growing work in data analytics to maximise the use of our data from various sources, including online giving platform, web traffic and landscape studies.

We seek motivated candidates with the passion to make NVPC a data-driven organisation, to carry out meaningful work at the intersection of non-profit, public and private sectors and to make a difference at national level.


  • Lead project team to manage and conduct end-to-end quantitative and qualitative research projects such as large scale landscape study of giving behaviour and attitudes among individuals and corporates.
  • For each project, responsibilities include conceptualisation of research brief, conducting fieldwork (via market research agency or internal project team), data processing, data analysis and developing reports and presentations to make recommendations for internal and external stakeholders to inform and strengthen strategies and practices.
  • Involve in end-to-end data analytics projects.
  • Conduct secondary research and literature reviews on giving.
  • Manage collaborative research and data analytics work with partners such as government agencies, institute of higher learning.


  • Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business or other related field.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in a market research or related role, preferably in a research agency or institute.
  • With strong experience in quantitative research and some experience in qualitative research.
  • Experience in data analytics or related role would be an advantage.
  • Proficient in research methods and process and statistical analysis
  • Proficient in SPSS.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Curiosity and interest in looking for data and statistics that creates value.
