Strategic Partnership Full-time - Contract

Impact

NVPC leads and catalyses transformations in volunteerism and philanthropy to build compassionate and engaged communities. You will be part of a people-centric and dynamic team, involved in working with different nonprofit stakeholders to strengthen and deepen volunteerism in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage and execute programmes that strengthen giving communities (e.g. volunteers) together with various public and private sector organisations.
  • Engage, develop and manage engagements and partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders (e.g. public sector agencies, non-profit organisations and intermediaries) to institutionalise meaningful and sustainable community development programmes.
  • Facilitate activities and discussions among participants and gather feedback from them to further improve the programmes.
  • Review, analyse and develop systems and processes for effectively operating in partnership with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Document the good practices involved, as part of knowledge management.
  • Use Giving.sg as a platform for NPOs to increase volunteering and sourcing.
  • Support internal and external stakeholders in the organising of President’s Volunteerism & Philanthropy Awards and Giving Week, where required.

Requirements

  • Diploma in media and communications / marketing / social science / business
  • Prior experience in developing partnerships / relationship management, with preferably 2 – 3 years of experience in the non-profit sector in volunteer management capacity
  • Good understanding and grasp of issues pertaining to non-profit sector work
  • Strong communication skills
  • Interest and passion for social causes
  • Outgoing and comfortable in meeting and talking to people
  • Strong people skills, with experience in multi-lateral engagement with key stakeholder groups
  • Self-driven and motivated
  • Team-player
