You will be managing national level market research on volunteerism and philanthropy, and analysing data and trends on giving to inform and influence key stakeholders, ranging from internal stakeholders in NVPC to external partners such as government agencies, non-profits, companies and funders.

You will also be involved in our growing work in data analytics to maximise the use of our data from various sources, including online giving platform and web traffic.

We seek motivated candidates with the passion to make NVPC a data-driven organisation, to carry out meaningful work at the intersection of non-profit, public and private sectors and to make a difference at national level.


  • Project manage end-to-end quantitative research projects such as large scale landscape study of giving behaviour and attitudes among individuals and corporates.
  • For each project, manage responsibilities ranging from conceptualisation of research brief, conducting fieldwork (via market research agency or internal project team), data processing, data analysis to developing written reports and presentations to make recommendations for internal and external stakeholders to inform and strengthen strategies and practices.
  • Involve in end-to-end data analytics projects from business understanding, to data understanding, data preparation, modelling, evaluation and to deployment.
  • Manage collaborative research and data analytics work with partners such as government agencies, institute of higher learning.


  • Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or other related field.
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in a market research, survey, data analytics or related role.
  • Proficient in research methods and process and statistical analysis.
  • Proficient in SPSS.
  • Strong written skills in English
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Curiosity and interest in looking for data and statistics that creates value.
