Assistant Manager, Enterprise Risk & PDPA Compliance

People & Corporate Services Full-time - Permanent


The incumbent shall be part of People & Corporate Services Team, contributing to efforts to ensure a robust enterprise management framework and data protection management programme. This is an important role not only from a compliance perspective but to ensure NVPC is a trusted partner and advocate for giving, as we build a City of Good in Singapore.


  • Champion and drive NVPC’s data protection management programme and develop on-going internal stakeholder engagement plan and management reporting processes
  • Implement, administer, review and monitor NVPC’s enterprise risk management (ERM) framework and efforts
  • Review personal data protection and ERM policies and processes to ensure compliance with regulations and codes
  • Develop plans to improve awareness and capabilities of staff, working with teams to review operational, monitoring and reporting processes where necessary
  • Work with Legal Counsel and internal governance team to resolve issues, conduct investigations or respond to complaints or feedback as may be required
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Degree in Business Administration, Legal/Compliance or similar with at least 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Certification in Data Protection or ERM would be advantageous
  • Experience in handling governance/compliance matters, risk management or personal data protection
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Understanding of relevant Acts and Codes - Familiarity with Charities Act and application of PDPA to charities would be an advantage
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Teamwork: Able to build effective working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders at all levels to ensure compliance and improve appreciation of ERM and PDPA
  • Adaptable: Highly self-motivated, resourceful, resilient and able to work independently in dynamic situations
  • Sense-making: Proven ability to anticipate and identify risks and implement mitigating measures
