BVH is a community hospital proposed by Venerable Yen Pei, the late President of Singapore Buddhist Welfare Services (BVH however does not receive any funding from the Buddhist Welfare Services). 

The meals served are lacto-ovo-vegetarian diet (which means eggs and dairy products are also consumed).
